Provide the exact year, make and model along with any lift, lowered suspension, oversized tires, roof rack, toolbox, body kit, or other modification. Height, width, length, weight, and ground clearance affect trailer position and loading even when two vehicles fall into the same broad category.

Running condition also matters. Explain whether the vehicle starts, rolls, steers, and brakes, and disclose leaks, dead batteries, missing keys, locked steering, or damaged wheels. A non-running vehicle may need a winch or other loading capability that is not present on every open carrier.

Remove valuables and loose personal items, secure or remove exterior accessories, take clear condition photos, provide working keys, and keep only modest fuel for loading. The pickup contact should inspect the vehicle with the driver and make sure existing damage is recorded before the carrier departs.
